I cannot install Boinc updates. The installer keeps looking for an older MSI and says "older version cannot be removed". I did a registry cleanup, nothing. Deleted every single file in the boinc folder. Nothing. Win 7 64 bit, all updates applied. Help!

It's a Windows (installer) error, not much to do with BOINC itself. It's Windows which has lost where it put the BOINC.MSI file. See this FAQ for options on how to fix that.
