I want to ask if it is possible to modify the installer for windows, that one can give additional command line parameters for the core client during the installation process.
I have the clients installed as a service and I would add (for example) the -return_results_immediately param to the service start command. At the moment I have to hack the registry to add this param and that's not very comfortabel.
Next point: Why isn't it possible to select the LocalSystem-User-Account during service installation ?

By default BOINC will upload when the result is done. It'll only take a bit longer for the result to report. That's either the next time BOINC automatically contacts the project server (depending on the Connect to setting), when it wants to download new work or when the deadline of the unit is within 24 hours.

So an additonal option for you is to use the Run As service.

Next point: Probably because no one has tested it yet and Microsoft doesn't think it's such a secure option either over the Administrator option. At least by being an Administrator you need to have a password.
