my BOINC Questions as：

I can't run a run command
Kernel version 2.6.18-238.el5

[root@localhost boinc01]# ./run_client --daemon
./run_client: line 1: cd: /usr/local/BOINC/BOINC: ûĿ¼

but I can run ./boinc and ./boinccmd These two commands will display an error and I can see the command prompt usage！

# ./boinccmd

usage: boinccmd [--host hostname] [--passwd passwd] command

Commands:
 --lookup_account URL email passwd
 --create_account URL email passwd name
 --project_attach URL auth          attach to project

After the run >_<

can't connect to local host

Why is this so?

what happens if you try running ./run_client without --daemon option ?
