When I try to install the new version, it can not find the installation package BOINC.msi and lists C:\Windows\Downloaded Installations\{C2C0469C-8349-40A9-B0FC-AEF5169003D0}\ as a source to be browsed for. But no matter how many times I download it, it does not work. When I browse for it using explorer, it finds 2 of them, but when I use either, it says it is not the right package. I have rebooted with no change. Win7 on a Dell 8000. Help please. Thanks, Kirk Sorensen

See this FAQ for more help. Essentially, Windows has lost the information about the installation, it can in 99% of the cases be repaired with a reinstallation of the previous BOINC.
