Sorry if this is an FAQ -- but I couldn't find a search option. I've got a dual-CPU system. When I ran BOINC and SETI only it happily allowed two work units at a time. Now, I've decided to run the BBC Climate change and SETI with 50% resources allocated to each -- I'm only running one at a time now. Should I have specified each at 100%? Would that have made it work correctly? Or is there something else that I should be doing? Thanks, -Don |

Check your global preferences and make sure it is set to use 2 processors. New projects sometimes reset this to 1. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
