How do I get the BOINC Client (6.10.58) to start up when I restart the computer after a shut down. Some of my Box's do restart BOINC & some don't. I check the Box for Restart on Login but that don't seems to work as the Client still doesn't start up when the Box starts. I've also tried reinstalling BOINC but it doesn't give me the option to start on Login either ... Thanks

It should be "Start Manager at login?" in your Options, which if I recall correctly are still in Advanced view->Advanced->Options in 6.10.

This activates a certain switch in the registry, making sure that BOINC Manager starts after Windows login. You will have to do this on each account that you allow(ed) to manage BOINC.

Yes I know, but I already stated I checked that Box & the Client doesn't start on login & the Box is unchecked again ...

EDIT: It shows "Run Manager at Login" in the Options for 6.10.58

Did you then eithier shut Boinc fully down or exit the Manager? or did you go straight for a Reboot?,

I'm sure Boinc Manager saves that registry value on exit.

I don't remember now as I've tried it numerous ways. Anyway I think I found the Registry Key that controls starting BOINC on Login "DisableAutoStart" but changing the Value didn't start BOINC on a reboot either ... :/

EDIT: Changing the Value in the Registry & checking the "Run Manager at Login" Box seemed to work on 1 Box so I'll try it on some of the others ...
