The number of natural disasters occurring recently has got me thinking about this. Perhaps it would be useful to simulate, say, a large city like Los Angles being stuck by a significant earthquake, or an EF5 tornado hitting a populated ares, etc? (Also, I'm not a new member - I've been crunching climate models for a year now as well as some other projects.)
