Hi! I have Boinc 6.12.26 on Win7 32bit. My problem is that I close Boinc Manager ("exit button") but Applications still running on taskmanager and also CPU&GPU load remain on 100%.

For close Boinc I must check "sleep button on boinc" and close Boinc Manager.
¿Any idea?

Is "Enable Manager exit dialog?" checked in BOINC Manager->Tools->Display and network options->General?

If not, enable (check) it and you will get the exit dialog whenever you exit BOINC Manager, which will ask you "Stop running science applications when exiting the Manager?".
Then on the Exit dialog, only check that option and not "Remember this decision and do not show this dialog.", as when you do, any next time you exit BOINC Manager it'll do so silently for only the manager and not for the science applications...

Otherwise it is totally normal that BOINC and the science applications continue running when you exit BOINC Manager. As of BOINC 6.10 (or somewhat earlier, even) one can run the client without the GUI, also when not installed as a service!

I've been suffering this problem since Boinc 6.12.16, in my case it's only the Collatz Cuda app that remains running after Boinc is shut down,
I did report it to the Boinc Alpha list on the 7th March, but no one else replicated it at the time, and i did tell the developers 6.12.15 worked properly,
it has only been in the last week that anyone else has replicated it, Peter Slacik has reported see it with the Collatz Cuda app (on the Boinc Alpha list),
Yesterday Miep and Arkayn reported seeing it with the Collatz Cuda app too (in a Lunatics Development thread)
and now Sirus B and Grill have reported here about the same problem, Sirus B also seeing it with CPU Freehal,

I suspect it's changeset [trac]changeset:23093[/trac] that has caused it,

Boinc used to kill the app after 5 seconds, now it waits 15 seconds, but before that 15 seconds is up, Boinc has already shut down, leaving apps still running.

That changeset was in response to another Bug i reported, when Boinc 6.12.x puts Collatz Cuda tasks into High Priority, and a new Collatz Cuda task starts,
the freshly started Collatz task errors out with not enough GPU memory available because the last Collatz Cuda task hasn't quite finished yet,
and so hasn't freed the GPU memory,

The Collatz problem is something different. I checked in a change that might fix it.
