This bug is reported many many times and it looks impossible to understand but sill, no fix for that. Is it so hard to fix that? |

I'm not sure what you man. But since we're at a forums, where the amount of characters you're allowed to use supersedes the 140 characters that Twitter allows, why don't you explain what you mean? What bug are you describing? BOINC manager starting minimized? Something within BOINC Manager that you don't like? Which operating system do you see this on? What screen resolution? |

It looks like this: whatever your resolution is, Boinc uses higher resolution when startup !? I use Boinc manager several years, and can say in 100% that version from 6.10.18 to latest version have same issue. On SETI at HOME, there is many threads, but not solutions for this bug. Since "picture can tell 1000 word" I will put you screen shot. As you can see there always missed upper part of Boinc manager. |

What happens if you adjust the window size and exit the manager? Is the new size used when restarting? Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) |

On SETI at HOME, there is many threads, but not solutions for this bug. My methods of doing a search there must suck, but even doing an advanced search going back a year on "boinc manager start starts up big bigger oversized screen size" (without quotes) gives me zero hits. Still, your OS is what exactly? I asked that as there have been reports of a BOINC Manager start up missing the edge on some Linux versions, this was due to their Linux distro not having been up-dated with one of the later wxWidget versions. However, this isn't that. It looks more like your BOINC starts not focused, not maximized and shoved a little to the top. You can't however know whether or not this has been fixed or not as you aren't running the latest version of BOINC Manager. I know that since you have a Messages tab and miss the Notices tab. So, when you go run an older version of BOINC Manager on top of the latest client, any artifacts you see are hardly the developers their fault. If this is a bug, it'll be fixed in BOINC Manager, not in the client. Bugs gotten rid of in BOINC Manager won't be seen by you if you do not run the latest BOINC Manager, but instead have returned to a prior BOINC Manager version running on top of the newer client. |

Same Problem here with latest release 6.12.26 on Win7. At my machines, the problem sometimes occurs after a restart of the machine, and the boinc was not maximized before when Windows shutting down. Regards Odi |
