Somewhere in the 5.3.X line boinc CC started to think that Windows host has allways an active user... What I see is the following: if I install boinc CC (5.3.17, 5.3.21, 5.3.23 - it doesn't matter) and have host venue configured not to work while computer is in use, boinc CC doesn't resume project binaries at all. Even if nobody is actually logged in to a computer. It works as intended with version 5.2.13 and works with versions 5.3.x if user_run_request is set to 1 (always). Metod ... |

I'm noticing the same problem & have a thread on the BOINC Manager board. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=632 ZoneAlarm seems to be detecting a lot of traffic also, even if my ADSL modem isn't. Anyone have any further ideas? |

ZoneAlarm seems to be detecting a lot of traffic also, even if my ADSL modem isn't. Anyone have any further ideas? This is the 2 parts of BOINC talking to each other. |

So are they too busy talking to do any work?...:-) ZoneAlarm flashes whether the apps are computing or not if that matters to anyone. |

Walt G at Berkeley has put a fix in for this bug. It will appear in 5.3.29. |
