I have not been able to call up the http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/ site nor have I been able to upload work for 2 days or get new work. Kirk

I just e-mailed The Lattice project Admin and got the following back as to why they are offline.
The machine that hosted the lattice BOINC project suffered a hardware failure. Currently I have no estimate of when we'll have everything back online.

Looks like this is the week to suffer hardware failure. So far it looks like SETI, CPDN, Milkyway have had problems in the last 7 days.

Looks like Dnetc has joined the GPU offline collection over the past 24 hours

Over at BOINCstats there's this shout by [PNT] Obix007:

...Currently we are moving project to more efficient server - in this moment we dont know when we finish.

OK - I saw that --looks like they just came back online (1PM PDT)

MilkyWay remains deadish though. Perhaps sometime during the work week...

Fifth day with no connection to MilkyWay and that for a problem with a little cooling.... Or they have moved to another solar system.

LOL, that would defy the usefulness of their project, wouldn't it? ;-)

Not that they had work or anything, but I noticed Virtual Prairie's savanna might have gone ablaze as well. Maybe it's the dry season? Does anyone knows anything about them?

In the News forum there's word of a paper by Virtual Prairie... maybe they're done? http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=6607

Thanks for the info SekeRob. Maybe on their forums they announced they're done, but I don't visit it frequently and might have missed it. When I read the acknowledgements is looks like they're done, it's in the past tense.
I'll ask in the thread you linked to to keep things on topic.

Thanks,
Bart

DNETC has been offline a few days and they say it should be back soon. All the admins said was "project will be offline from 02 June" and not when it'll be back.

Connect to server fails with "cannot open logfile" so...I'd imagine they are significantly upgrading.

MilkyWay is down too, eh? Good to know it's not just me.

Sudoku@VTaiwan seems to be back, finally. I'm not sure when they began new WU generation but the server was simply gone for the longest time.

I haven't had any problems with DNETC since about 2030 UTC yesterday (4 June)...

I noticed both the CPDN forums are no longer on line. Anyone know about that?

Both are online as tested from the UK a few seconds ago.

Hmm yes, it would appear that DNETC is back. When tested 3 hours ago only the index page was loading and I could not get WUs on any machine. So now I have, and presume they're done upgrading whatever for now.

SETI has stopped uploading results files. I suspect like Matt or Jeff posted before the weekend that the servers filled up and have stopped taking back results files until the storage server is emptied. They said that the thing was filling faster than space was clearing due to returning results before leaving for the weekend.
