Looks like the Rosetta project and the MalariaControl.net project have joined the group of AWOL projects.

Define AWOL ;)
Malarias server_status.php suggests different, and I just got a fresh WU.
Rosettas server_status does the same, and so does my fresh WU.

MilkyWay went silent this morning -- 7AM PDT -- no access to home page, let alone data servers. They might be doing maintenance, or there might be a problem at RPI regarding access at the moment.

Milkyway still unreachable about 3PM PDT == 6 PM EDT so I suppose it might be until sometime tomorrow at best that we get some news there.

Milkyway still unreachable about 3PM PDT == 6 PM EDT...

Hmmm...I haven't had any trouble since about 5 PM EDT (2100 UTC).

OK -- my bad -- didn't realize they had done a server relocate with an IP address change, I needed to flush my proxy cache and then all was well.

Thanks for the follow up -- when you posted you could see the server, I moved to plan b (flushing proxy caches).

If MW had mentioned this was in the works over the weekend (they might not have known their IT folks were going to do this), I'd have looked to clearing the proxy first. No biggie -- Collatz got a bit more work done <smile>.

Enigma has returned from the dead:

Server downtime
The server is back up after it's longest outage. Unfortunately I had no money to pay the hosting bills so after a while my account got disabled and the server became unreachable.

I also had hardware problems with the local part of the server, as a result minor part of the database was recovered after critical failure, it's not yet entirely fixed so most probably validator will mark some of the results as invalid. Since it's already late night here, I'll fix that tomorrow, together with the WUs marked as timeouts.
It's also possible that I'll be changing the server location, I'll post more info tomorrow.

Collatz went dark about 4 hours ago (7AM PDT). No access to home page. Perhaps an ISP problem or major hardware issue.

OK -- closing on 7 hours. Collatz has been VERY steady over the past year, with virtually no outages longer than a half hour (a couple that were longer than that). And it has been a long time since the project was totally offline (no home page).

So this is unexpected.

I realize that this board is not the only locale for project outage news and wonder if perhaps there is another location which might have some news regarding Collatz...

Checked on BOINCStats forums? They may have news.

Yes, I checked over there. There was an old thread regarding Collatz problems in the past. It had a last message posted flag from earlier today, but when I looked at the thread, the latest post was a year old....

OK -- Collatz is back up and running. There was a power outage in the morning while Slicker was at work and the outage lasted longer than his UPS could handle. So the project was offline until he got back home in the early evening.

About two weeks ago my SetiHome projects stopped downloading.
Since I restarted Einstein and added World Community projects - they are downloading.
Still - SetiHome has a problem in that when it downloads there is a error in the size of the file expected versus downloaded.
No changes on my system other than normal updates.
The above issue started in recent past.

Well chasster123, that's not a project outage as everyone else seems to be unaffected. You better ask for help at the Seti help desk forums. It's possible they changed IP addresses again, or that you need to jump another hoop. I don't know, I haven't looked at their forums for a long time. ;-)

The Lattice projects seems to have dropped off the web. http://boinc.umiacs.umd.edu/ The whole site appears to be offline.

Looks like SETI just had another crash.

It was only down for a few minutes, mostly back up now.

Jord requested no sigs in this thread, I think.

Milky-way seems to have dropped off the web. Anyone know what is up? Also Lattice looks to be going into its 3rd day offline with no post anywhere I can find.

Poor show Oxford! As your one of England's top university's to not keep your users up to date is bad show. What is the problem? ever since CPND has moved to your university it has been dogged with extra long maintenance times.
