Although I have been crunching SETI for a long long time, off and on,this is the first time I have bothered to join the forum, although my input will probably be severely limited by the lack of expertise in scientific matters or mathematical equations (did I just say that!!?).

My belief is simple. There must be life out there otherwise, to quote Ellies dad in the film Contact, its 'an awful waste of space'.

I also beleive that they use a different technology and our feeble messages could well be passing them by, unheard.

One day, maybe, one day ...............
