I get an error saying that the user Administrator couldnt be added to boinc_admins. I'm installing as administrator, and have added the user via the cmd interface thinking that might work, but it didnt help.

I've used Boinc for years and don't feel right with it not heating up my system.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

And are you certain about the operating system? That's the same error message you'd get if installing on a Domain Controller, such as Windows Small Business Server 2008.
