I wonder if we had already ascended problems between Firefox and Boinc because with version 6.12.6, I occasionally some units with projects such as: rosetta and CAS slowdowns or program not responding ...

In the world of multi-lingual lost in translation one can often still surmise what's said, even if in double Dutch ;-).

Firefox has a long history of eating small or even big CPU time ... the more add-ons the bigger that can be, plus memory leak chances galore, even when sitting minimized on the start bar. Recently discovered a zombied Mail module of "guess who" that was eating 1 core at 100%. The OS was swapping the used cores around so effectively all 4 cores sciences ran at only about 70% efficiency. Check Top of Taskmanager in root/admin to find what's eating time.

Sometimes certain tab slow to open or that the program does not respond for a few seconds ...

As my PC computing times, maybe that comes from the ram or the cpu is at 100% load ....

Or it just Firefox extensions + BOINC because when I do this the fact that Firefox can be but very rarely ...
