Dear All,

I have followed the steps in "Tutorial #1: Quick start" and successfully set up BOINC virtual server and BOINC client. BOINC client is fetching and executing jobs from the server. But how could I check the jobs are for a sample application that uses 1 minute of CPU time and processes a 4 MB file? What I supposed to see in both server and client? Any figures / graphic / animation? What I supposed to see to proof the performance?

Besides, when I run the quick start sample, BoINC Manager will show error message "Message from server: No work sent" & "Message from server: upper CASE is not available for your type of computer" What is the problem here? Thanks.

This site is monitored by volunteers, who can only answer requests for help if they know the answers.
Only 2 or 3 of the volunteers know about compiling the server side code, and their visits to this forum are infrequent, so, in effect, people who encounter problems doing this have to figure things out themselves.

:(
