What’s with the site? Is the server down? Yesterday I attached to the project and downloaded a bunch of WU’s. They are crunching nicely. Three or four finished, uploaded and reported. That was late yesterday (9/18/10). The problem is that the rest can’t upload. There are presently 34 files stuck in the “transfer tab”. I assume that the server is down. Any idea when the server will be up again. The deadline is Monday (9/20/10). Will the results still be excepted if they are late. |

Any idea when the server will be up again. We're as mystified as everyone else. It looks like their database couldn't withstand the massive amount of men and their machines. And since they also have weekend, I wouldn't expect anything before Monday. But it's all guessing, the project is something on its own, no one at BOINC (the forums here or the developers) have any influence over the projects running under it. The deadline is Monday (9/20/10). Will the results still be excepted if they are late. Since no one can upload & report, I would assume they'll be accepted even when late. As long as their database survived. |

Anyone out there have any idea what (if anything?) is going on with this project? I've been subscribed for about a week, and still don't have a single Work Unit that I can detect. eh??? |

OK, I guess. They having trouble getting things to work? Their home page (http://orbit.psi.edu/) says they got some new storage equipment a month ago, and they expect to install it over the next two weeks. If they are still down, maybe someone should add a note to that effect. |

If you go and read Pasquale's last post, there isn't going to be any work until the end of November: Just a quick update: I'm afraid no new WUs will be generated this week or the next. I've been partially sidetracked by a forthcoming meeting (next week), not related to orbit@home, so we are now talking about new WUs around the end of November 2010. So there's likely to be work soon, Claggy |

So, the info I need to see is in the twenty-eighth post out of thirty two (using my quick counts) on a forum thread I at least never knew existed. sigh..... Is Pasquale worried that people would leave if he gave us the straight info up on the Orbit home page? Or is he just out of his depth running this project? I am beginning to wonder. |

Hi, I've been waiting a while to get packets. Haven't seen one yet. Am I doing something wrong? I signed up when I found out you were giving packets out but haven't seen any activity after signing up weeks ago is there a problem? Just hoping and waiting and ready when you are. Using an Acer Aspire 5741G I5-430M processor, ATI-Mobility Radeon HD 5470, and 4 gigs of ram. Haven't made any tweaks to BOINC. Thanks, John |

I signed up when I found out you were giving packets out... How (where) did you find that out? This site isn't a project and so doesn't give any tasks out. You should ask at the project sites where you are attached. Gruß, Gundolf |

Am I doing something wrong? Doubt it. I've been signed up for several weeks, and have pretty much given up getting any thing any time soon. The last word I've been seen (http://orbit.psi.edu/oah/forum_thread.php?id=462&nowrap=true#6539) is that the Project Admin Pasquale Tricarico is having trouble getting things going on their end. |
