Is it possible to set a work buffer size for a specific project leaving others at the general setting?

No. The work buffer is part of the Global Preferences, which will be the same for all projects attached to that computer. You can of course set the other projects on No New Task, while you temporarily change the additional work buffer to something higher, so you can fetch enough work for that one project (Seti I presume?).

I just wanted to stop Collatz filling up boinc when Milkyway was out of work units.
