For a complete rewrite of the BOINC FAQs I am looking for a couple of things. First off terminology used in projects. Things like VLAR, VHAR, AP, MB, GWC1, model, etc. etc. Whatever you can think of that is used in your project of choice and of which you know the meaning, please post it here and I will transport it to the new FAQs. I am also looking for screen shots of the Macintosh BOINC Manager, simple and advanced preferences windows, Options window and Attach to X shots. Preferably in JPG or PNG format. If you don't know how to use an external site as photobucket to store them on, you can email them to me. PM me for my address. Lastly (for now) I am looking for screen shots of various skins on the Simple View. If you have one that's custom made and want to share it with the world, let me know. Again in PNG or JPG format please. With thanks |

You may want to add a brief description of the Optimized Apps for the different projects and a bit about the Lunatic's site and the other sites for the other projects. And also, app_info and cc_config files. |

You may want to add a brief description of the Optimized Apps for the different projects and a bit about the Lunatic's site and the other sites for the other projects. I have been thinking about that and opted against it. That's something for the projects to do. I'm running the BOINC FAQs, not the Project this & that Optimized applications FAQs. I've got a general FAQ about Seti opti-apps and how to install them. And also, app_info and cc_config files. The anonymous platform is explained, as well as the cc_config.xml file. |
