I have to wonder when my university, Rutgers University, a major research university and one of the 69 members of the prestigious Association of American Universities, will wake up to BOINC? Having a project running BOINC software should be a great flag for any university. I wrote a huge proposal and sent it to the Dean of the Honors program at Rutgers - who just happens to be my neighbor. I made it quite modular and asked if she could disperse chunks of it to the various science and engineering departments. Nothing ever happened. Pity for you, Rutgers. If any Rutgers students, faculty, almnae, etc., read here, tell your university about BOINC. Right now, student scan not even attach on a university provided ISP. http://sciencesprings.wordpress.com http://facebook.com/sciencesprings |
