I have Boinc on my desktop. Desktop runs Win Xp. I'm trying to get Boinc 6.10.43 to run on my laptop. Laptop runs Vista.
Boinc will not operate as the screen saver, nor start when the screen saver preview button is clicked.
Laptop Specs:
Turion 1.8 ghz duo core
2 gig ram
Windows Vista 32 bit
Not sure how to load the screen capture of the settings in Boinc.
I've tried google and haven't found any help.
Thanks.

What project(s)?
Activity setting? Run based on preferences or Run always?

What are your computing preferences setting?
Suspend work while computer is on battery power? NO/YES
Suspend work while computer is in use? NO/YES
'In use' means mouse/keyboard activity in last XX minutes

Hold on, are you trying to run BOINC only as a screen saver? meaning that the screen saver starts the client and such? I don't think it works that way anymore, hasn't done so in a long time. You will need to have BOINC running before the screen saver can start.

Whether or not any project runs depends on the preference settings AB posted about.
