Hello, I've had this problem for many months now - low cpu intensity projects like QCN run at nice 19 like all other projects under boinc for linux x86_64. I've noticed this on several versions of boinc, latest on 6.10.36.
This is a big issue for me as QCN continously recalibrates the sensor until the wu crashes due to too many restarts. If I manually set the process to a higher nice setting it runs flawlessly.
Can this be fixed in a later boinc version or is there a workaround?

The priority of science applications isn't set by BOINC, but is programmed into the science applications. So you will have to ask Carl at QCN if he can up the priority to normal on a next app.
