Hi, I'm a hobby coder and learning things by redoing examples. that's what keeps me away from BOINC, because I find it difficult to start as a bginner. I allready head a look if there are and wherethere are workshops in my area, but the one I found was in Spain (Barcelona I think) and not even close to Germany ;). So I would like to attend regional workshops and perhaps it would be nice to have a mao of possible "mentors" in my area so that we could meet and do a "small" workshop. And in addition, it would be cool to have some lecture material. This could also been used by professors in universities and their presentations. There are aften working groups in/at universities, as I experienced it by myself, so you could reach both and perhaps create some regional "clubs". What do you think? Andreas |

hi, I started a discussion here http://www.boinctreffen.de/viewforum.php?f=67 because I'm German and so I hope to start something for my region :) but perhaps there are other possible regions and we should all stay connected and keep in touch. Please feel free to use this thread for your planing :) Andreas |
