When I found the stats pages here, I was dismayed to see I am not in the 20 computers or less list or the 10 computers or less list. These lists are filtered against hidden computers. I do not hide computers on any project, but I can find myself in the 5 projects or more list and see that BURP computers are shown as hidden. They are not. Pirates used to show my computers as hidden on my profile page here but once they started back up and I reattached and got work, they were displayed correctly. So I guess I need some BURP work but who knows when that will happen. I went over there and begged shamelessly for work, but none has come my way yet.

Will we ever be able to truly detach from a project or will every little indiscretion always be a part of our Permanent Record?

Pam,

When did you show your computers?

If the UCB site has not updated or the BURP site has not exported the data, that is the problem. So, if BURP is not making the exports then the UCB site cannot update.

My computers have always been visible in every project.

And sometimes I can see that there was BURP work at the BOINCStats site in the last couple of weeks. So they must be exporting sometimes? If BURP is down (which may be most of the time) when Berkeley updates, could that be why?

Paul, I see you appear in the 10 computers or less list and your boinc.berkeley page shows SIMAP computers are hidden, yet you still show up in that filtered list. Your computers are not hidden at SIMAP, and that project looks like it has activity.

Urgh...

Ok, no idea why ...

SIMAP does not use the standard forums so I am not always sure if I trust the reports ... :)

Though I have a BURP account, I never did any work there and don't pay any attention to the project as they don't seem to be coming out of testing ... or at least not anytime soon ...

Good question and I have no answer ...

*sigh* I must have been kind of sleepy the last time I updated the sql script. You should show up in the 10 or fewer and 20 or fewer lists tomorrow (Feb 9) after the scripts run again (they complete about 6am CDT).

For some reason, I messed up the filter process in that it was always using old data, and not updating one of the tables used in the filter process. I fixed that now.

Just an FYI, BURP is not counted in filtering process and will always show the computers as "hidden" when viewing the details for a person. This is because the export files for the hosts are in an old format that does not export all the needed information (like who a host belongs to and the host cpid).
