Perhaps I've missed this but I see the current production version and the version before - all ready for download. Is there access to the next version on a pre release basis WITHOUT having to take a tar ball and compile yourself? I am happy to compile Linux versions but I don't have (or want) a MS compiler.

I ask because there is "I think" a fix for the 500 server error that was submitted last Dec 8th by Thyme Lawn. Its probably checked in and ready in 5.2.14? who knows? I would like to get that next version pre release and ask the people I am trying to help to set it up and see if they get past this difficult 500 error problem. All these folks are non Linux btw.

Anyone know where or if I can get it? Views anyone? Go on tell me its just over there here's the link LOL. Can it be made available if its not aleady so?

I just looked, and I see 5.2.14 (bad version), 5.2.15 (in test), 5.3.2 and 5.3.6 (in development). Are you looking at the "public" download site rather than the "full" download site?

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php?dev=1 for currently in-test versions, or

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/ for everything...

DISCLAIMER: Using ANY of these links is done "at your own risk", same as if you downloaded the source and compiled it yourself; any version other than the "currently recommended" one may cause you to lose results, wipe your hard drive, and cause tooth decay.

Hey thanks Bill. I was looking at ordinary public stuff. This is what I need. I don't think I even knew these pages existed as I have always downloaded and built an early versions I wanted. Thanks again.
