I have had a number of bad attempts to download new projects. The client says in the message box:
Requesting new tasks for GPU
Schedular request completed: got 0 new tasks
Message from server: platform 'windows_x86_64' not found
Any ideas? It seems to me that it is saying windows control sets or windows can not be found.

It's saying that the SZTAKI project does NOT have a science application for 64 bit Windows.
Look at their web site to see what OSs are supported. Some projects only have 32 bit apps.

Is it (hypothetically) possible? It it is, that's option that can be integrated to BOINC manager.

No, you cannot run any 32bit application or CPU in 64bit mode. You can run 32bit applications on a 64bit CPU, though.

That option was added few years ago, but it needs server changes. SZTAKI hasn't upgraded their server for years.

The SZTAKI server was updated earlier this week - 64-bit CPU's can now get work.
