What do people think of having a standard feature on a boinc web site where people could ask a question and seek a yes/no answer . Or ask a question and seek one of strongly agree, agree, dont care, disagree, strongly disagree.

This could be used by devs and users to find out what peoples attitudes are to various topics. It would overcome threads where a question is put and a wide spectrum of views come back, and often many are off at a tangent, thus yielding no clear result. It would allow the +/- to be removed also perhaps which causes grief to some and that system hides how many people actually engaged.

Thoughts anyone?

*I* like it. Willy has one on his site and he poses a question a week. If it was built into the basic web site it would be dynomite.

It needs a way for the participants to suggest poll topics I would think.
