i run the same work on several computers, rosetta at home. its my only project. on one computer which i check once a day, i will see all downloaded files have suffered a computation error. i update, get new work, it runs while i am watching it and then again the next day, all errors.

i am sure someone needs more information to answer this question, but is there some basic wrongness you might know about? none of my other computers suffer computation errors, ever. not one time. thanks.

Indeed, a link to such an erroneous result would be helpful, to at least see the error message.

Does that machine go into hibernation mode?

Gruß,
Gundolf
[edit]I tried to look up your userID at Rosetta to get such a link, but their server seems to be down.[/edit]

we suggest that you go to rosseta@home's forums for more help with this particular problem.

you can try a project reset to see if that clears the problem.

Since there's no user "schumacher62" at Rosetta, you still have to give us a link to a task or at least the stderr output of one if you want to hear ideas.

Gundolf

I got additional info by the OP (pfschumacher, hostid 910401), so I can now tell one task (280033729) and the error:
Unhandled Exception Detected...

- Unhandled Exception Record -
Reason: Access Violation (0xc0000005) at address 0x005B0156 read attempt to address 0x128B9190

There are some hints at the BOINC FAQ Service, but perhaps there's more info to get at the Rosetta boards.

Gruß,
Gundolf
