In more details, here's the problem:
#./cgi
./cgi: /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8: no version information available (required by ./cgi)
./cgi: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8: no version information available (required by ./cgi)
I suspect this is the reason why my client is failing to get any work, as the client only gets a message about "Internal server error".

I got everything set up from looking at the debian image, and I seem to have most things right, but here I got stuck.

Anyone hit this before?

Seems to have been a consequence of me copying stuff from debian to gentoo.
I built it myself properly instead and it worked.
