-(Been running problem free for months now, tried uninstalling & re-installing the latest version. only thing changed recently was I added both rosetta & docking to my WCG,total of three projects)- all of a sudden today computations seem to just stop, both the 'elapsed time' & the 'to completion' times are still moving 'UP'(as in the the elapsed time is counting up & so is the to completion time, because it is not computing) yet the the 'progress' is not moving. The only thing 'I THINK' maybe had screwed something up was I had went over the 'use no more the 100GB of disk space'(again,I think),so I removed rosetta that seemed to be HUGE(143GB on top of my WCG & docking),but still no change. Don't remember this happening B4 so any ideas? please & TY. |

Did you try a reboot since that behaviour occurred? Are there any messages in the Messages tab of BOINC manager concerning the lack of memory? Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) ![]() |

Did you try a reboot since that behaviour occurred? -O yes,I checked/updated everything. quote:Are we talking GB or MB? What's your path to the BOINC Data Dir and Program Dir? Not that it matters for jobs in progress. BUT, some jobs have long apart checkpoints and will not show a progress in the %. Piece of your startup BOINC log and a section of where the respective jobs start and run always helps to progress diagnostics. ttyl - I'm sorry,I did mean MB not GB,my total BOINC disc usage ATM is only 183MB,got mixed up in my panic I guess! LOL!,so far from the 100GB max. ________________________________________________________________________________ Anyways,it finally started running again,it just seemed to go on strike for a day!?,not sure why but seems to be running ok now. Thank you for your replies. |
