Hello,

I have two computers running boinc. I am running seti, rosetta and climate prediction.

I am using the newest version of the 64 bit BOINC for Vista (V6.6.36)

Climate Prediction's WUs are fairly lengthy to process and I would like to reformat my HD and reinstall the OS. Doing so will require I reinstall all my programs and while I can reinstall BOINC, I don't want to discard the Climate Prediction WUs which will take some time to complete.

So how do I back up Boinc projects so they will be recgonized & continued in a new Boinc installation?

Thanks!

The README files on climateprediction's alternative board covers this.
Backup and Restore covers backups, and there's a section at the bottom of Running the Model labelled MOVING a model from one machine to another
