Banner Ad "Boinc Yourself and your computer" (click on it and brings you to the boinc ad page.....) Ever wondered what your computer can do while you use only a fraction of the computing power? What if their is a way you can help in the field or bio-medicine, mathmatics, science, and other problems that humans face? Their is and it is Boinc (Berkeley Open Infrastructure Network Client); allows programs to use spare cpu power to work on a problem. Many problems that we humans face take a lot of cpu time to figure it out a solution to the specific problem. More and more, computers have fast processors which can multi-task which makes them ideal for Boinc. Click here to learn more (brings you the the offical boinc info page...... this one of my boinc yourself ads..... just an idea, but it would be nice if it was up somewhere. Be nice if i won the lottery too. But we know that's not going to happen. SETI@home gets AD's with Google. Type SETI into google and you will see the advert on the right! John. |
