Or do i have to uninstall and re-install? And in this case, should i do some kind of backup or not? thanks! ID: 24958 ·

BOINC will keep all information when upgrading. It depends on which BOINC version you had before on what to backup: BOINC 4 and 5: the whole BOINC directory with subdirectories. BOINC 6: the separate BOINC Data directory with subdirectories. ID: 24985 ·
