I cannot seem to escape "Requesting 0 seconds of work".

Before going on vacation, everything was working well. On all projects (seti, climateprediction, einstein, milkyway) I did "No New Tasks" a few days before shutting down. When I got back 4 days ago, I did "Allow New Tasks" on all projects. At first, all projects would only say "Requesting 0 seconds of work", but after twiddling around with settings for disc usage and amount to download (and setting them back to original), Seti (and only Seti) is supplying work.

I have not updated BOINC client or manager or anything else. I'm running version 5.10.45-1ubuntu1 of both client and manager (latest available from apt-get), on Ubuntu 8.04 amd64. I have 9.32 GB free disc space, BOINC is using 177 MB, and each client is allowed to use 1 GB.

Please, does anyone have any suggestions or ideas why it stopped working?

Time stats would stop the project from giving you work. It's not the cause of the client not asking for work.

Wrong, as you can see in the quoted thread:
While BOINC running, % of time work is allowed 16.879 %

Danke, Gundolf. Resetting debts in client_state.xml did the trick. BTW, there were no problems with <time_stats> or <duration_correction_factor>.
