Checked all the registry stuff till I could understand it, ghosted the drive, then all psyched to regedit (I'm not that techy)...

But version 6.6.36 of boinc worked without having to touch anything!!

It's running 4 GPU's, all I've done is stuck the 3 dummy VGA loads on that I was using before to trick vista. Phew :-)

Is anyone running W7 X64 and got this working?

so far i can only get two gpus to show up with sli disabled on 195.55 by adding binary "limitvideopresentsources" to all four keys with "01 00 00 00" and two blue lights.

with sli enabled it isn't stable, but i get four gpus in bonic

i've now tried 190.62 with the same results, nvidia driver restarts if i enable sli and bonic detects 4 GPU's. if i add "LimitVideoPresentSources" to the regestry i will get two GPU's with SLI off. If it were to detect four GPU's with SLI off i don't know if it would be stable. screen flickers when loading new work unit.

we had same problem with 4x295. Only one chance is to instal linux. Now its all ok.

XP 64 Works fine

I agree XP 64bit works fine with a pair of 295's and I have been using it for a long time without problems, other than I really want to run Windows 7 instead of XP and came here hoping someone had fixed all the problems by now, but it looks like it is XP for a while longer at least.

I am just getting my new triple 587 system running and have been unable to get Collatz running which I planned on crunching, but Milkyway seems great so far.
