I am assuming "Missing a CUDA coprocessor" is SETI complaining about it? Seti appears not to want to run anything now.

I have tried everything I can think of. (Disabling Screen saver. Aero. etc.)
I have Vista 64 Ultimate. 4GB. nVidia 8800GT.

I received this error for quite awhile the last time, but then read about re-installing newer nVidia driver. I cleaned the driver files out and installed newest driver. Boinc then started seeing the CUDA device, again. In the last few days it has started the above behavior once again. I have not touched anything or installed anything since 're-newing' the driver. Any help appreciated.

EDIT: Sorry just saw the other forum and can't delete this one. Will read more there and move this post. (SEE THIS POST)

Something about Vista. If it thinks a driver is not correct or crashes too much it will revert back to a previous driver. Or so I read. Are you sure that the Nvidia driver for your videocard is still the correct one?

I seem to have problems loading the cudart.dll
most stock cuda as well as raistmers apps tried out no luck except for 14*3 dumped WU for seti enhanced. All computation error (evidently, this as there are no libraries to send info to... )

OS windows vista 64bit business

My system is a dual quadcore AMD opteron 2376 Shanghai with 16 Gb ram
(SSE(+),SSE2,SSE3,SSE4a) running at normal speeds,
1 cuda 1.1 capable videocard, Nvidia 9600GT chipset, driver version 182.50 64bit
cuda drivers 2.0, stock and 2.1 tried out.
OS windows vista 64bit business.
