Using this page Client Configuration Page

and this format:
<cc_config>
<log_flags>
<cpu_sched>1</cpu_sched>
</log_flags>
</cc_config>

I get the message on startup:
Sun Mar 15 16:27:37 2009 Missing start tag in cc_config.xml

What am I missing. I know is is probably simple, but I am drawing a blank.

Using Boinc 6.6.15

Thanks

Textedit - save as a plain text file with an .xml extension

Had You try to save this file with different line-ending symbols?
Windows uses <CR> <LF> as line-ending, Unix - <LF>, Mac - <CR>

Mac - <CR>

Mac OS X is Unix, uses <LF>.

<CR> is from Mac OS 9 and earlier, where BOINC doesn't even run.

It may be that your created file is saved as 'cc_config.xml.txt' and hence is unreadable for BOINC.

To recognize the full file name, for instance, in Win XP you have to disable the option to not disclose the endings of file names. (This can be found at the settings for directories.).
