I have an old computer that I'd like to use for BOINC
Problem is, it doesn't have enough RAM to run the projects I'd like to use it for.

I am fully confident in it's crunching abilty, so is there a way into "tricking it" into thinking it has more RAM than it does, or counting swap as RAM?

Any ideas?

I wouldn't go for "swap RAM" as it'll slow down the crunching enormously. How old a computer is it, how much RAM does it have and what do you plan to run on it?
