Myself have nothing to complain about the 6.4.5 version of Bionic.

I would suggest that 2 more command buttons be added.

Suspend All
Resume All

It would be nice to be able to suspend all or ready to start packets. This way I do not have to select each packet individually to suspend so I can free up a processor. I have a quad core and like having 2-3 processors working on packets while I do my own thing (surf / email / ect). Instead of the alternatives of shutting the program right down completely or suspending each ready to start packet. This way, I can click Suspend All and turn back on 2-3 packets.

I hope that is clear!!

Keep up the crunching!!

That option is already built into BOINC 6.4.5, just select all tasks you want to suspend and click suspend. 6.4.5 has multiple tasks and projects selection.

I've heard far and wide that using the throttle causes problems, but I use it all the time on a particular server to prevent overheating, and I've never experienced a single problem.

I know it "throttles" by constantly suspending and resuming WUs. Maybe the projects that I run on it aren't adversely affected (Cosmology, World Community Grid).

What type of problems do people have?

Ok, I see it now.. Suspend the "project", not just the "task".. Then resume only the amount of tasks you want to run..

Thanks for the help guys.
