There is a little bug in the Boinc Mac OS GUI (Boinc Manager version 6.2.18, Mac OS 10.5.6) : it appears when minimizing the manager window, then closing it from the dock (context menu) then reopen it with the boinc logo on the dock. The window does not show up and we can't access other windows. Quitting the manager does solve the problem. I didn't where to report (a reporting bug feature should be put forward on the boinc website), so I posted it here. Sorry for my poor English, and I hope this message helps ^^ |

If you find bugs, you can register and make a new ticket in Trac for it. But reporting them here on the forums is fine as well. I have forwarded this one to the developer. With thanks. :-) |

Probably a similar problem: It often happens that BOINC-Manager does not go to the background but stays the front-most application and I cannot activate/open any other app. In this case I have to quit BOINC and restart it. This happens especially (but not only) if I quit other programs such as Firefox or Thunderbird. Any solution for this behavior? System Info: MacPro, 10.5.6, BOINC 6.6.20 |
