Am I missing something? Chipset drivers or something? It's considerably lower and I'd like to get it resolved... I get this now: CPU type AuthenticAMD Dual-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2220 [AMD64 Family 15 Model 65 Stepping 3] Number of CPUs 4 Operating System Microsoft Windows Vista Business x64 Editon, Service Pack 1, (06.00.6001.00) Memory 4094.48 MB Cache 244.14 KB Swap space 8396.03 MB Total disk space 74.52 GB Free Disk Space 53.97 GB Measured floating point speed 1927.83 million ops/sec Measured integer speed 1858.09 million ops/sec Used to get: AuthenticAMD Dual-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2220 [AMD64 Family 15 Model 65 Stepping 3] Number of CPUs 4 Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition , Service Pack 2, (05.02.3790.00) Memory 4095.09 MB Cache 244.14 KB Swap space 5893.05 MB Total disk space 74.52 GB Free Disk Space 32.18 GB Measured floating point speed 2638.55 million ops/sec Measured integer speed 5995.55 million ops/sec |

When I get home from work I'm going to attempt a nForce driver update... I was impressed with Vista SP1 actually installing all drivers needed to make my PC work, but they probably aren't optimal. I'll report back. |

Make sure nothing else is taking up the CPU when you run the benchmarks. Make sure as little as possible is running as well. I see a big dip in benchmarks by just running Winamp (it doesn't even need to play music, just sit in the memory). |

This was after a fresh install... I did check the CPU usage and it was <2%.. After the nForce driver update I'm getting about 5200 now, not the 6000 I was getting before. |
