Seti is down again. Even the home page only comes up partially and gives this message "Unable to connect to database - please try again later Error: 2013Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 113" Not sure how long it has been down this time.

Well, somebody is working on it. SETI home page is back up but the database is still down. No SETI forums for us right now. :-(

CPDN main project

Milo and Tolu are working on an upgrade of the Boinc server version on the CPDN climateapps2 server. The job could take more than one day and may lead to CPDN server outages.

Lattice seems to be down I can't reach the website or with boinc their project servers. I could load the page around 19:00 UTC still down 00:30 UTC. I tried to ping the servers 0% returned.

Lattice is up for me. I can reach the website and my Boinc client can reach the Lattice Boinc server. They don't have any work available at the moment but that's often the case.

It came back up in roughly 4h after it crashed. I talked to the project admin and he confirmed the crash but it is back online.

Collatz is a one-person project -- Slicker (the everything guy there) published on the Collatz home-page that he was going away on vacation on November 12 for 10 days. He's been doing some remote work to keep the servers running to some degree. But for the last couple of days, things have been rather grim.

I expect that on his return (Saturday or Sunday) he will get on site and perform whatever mission critical surgery he needs to in order to bring the project back to life early this coming week.

Until then (with MilkyWay also being offline for new work -- for the past 12 days), if you want to do ATI GPU work, you will need to make loud rude noises at other projects to encourage them to get on with it. <smile>.

MilkyWay will likely also be back and running during the coming week. They had 'sick' hard drives. The replacement drives were received on Thursday so now it is a matter of the admin staff bringing these replacement drives online while retaining the existing database and project data.

Or a bit of up and down -- project updates were off on Wednesday, then back on Thursday and off since then. I suspect this is another project which will be back and running this coming week.

Well, it took MW two weeks to replace and restart, but only one day to crash. MW is unreacheable as of 2:45PM PST.

NQueens@Home seems to be up again. However there is no information on the website explaining the outage (that lasted about 1 month).
