I fired off a friendly letter (at least I hope it was) to GDF at the PS3 Project, so will have to wait and see if he responds or not ... :)

If that doesn't work I'll contact DA personally & see if he can do anything for me ... :)

PS: well that didn't take long to find out it wasn't going to work:

I have had some contact from GDF at the PS3 Project, he basically told me to use the "forgot password" feature ... LOL ... I told him I've been down that road about a dozen times already with no reply from the Project or any thing sent to me.

My ISP isn't blocking mail from the Project either because GDF's e-mail got thru to me ok with him using the ps3grid@gmail.com address. I'm waiting for his reply now ... :)

Could you please not write email addresses as email addresses? The spam bots on here are now thanking you for all the addresses you give them in a form they can read and store easily, but the people the addresses are from may not like the extra spam.

With thanks.

Sorry about that Jord, I don't think about those things when posting ...

Just to let you know that me getting my Account back @ the PS3Grid Project isn't going to happen I guess. I had a little contact with GDF @ the Project & thought he was indicating he would send me the Account Key if I couldn't get it thru the "forgot password" feature @ the Project.

His last contact asked me to try again & let him know so he could see if the Project was blocking the e-mail to me or not. I did that, and did it twice more over the next 24 hr's & let him know each time but haven't heard from him since.

So I told him in my last e-mail to him if I didn't hear from him I'd just consider the matter dead, I don't like to keep e-mailing somebody if their not going to respond back & it just makes me feel like I'm bothering them when that happens.

I'll just run the other Projects I can with the PS3 (SETI & Yoyo) & forgo running the PS3Grid Project ... :)

Hum, he's also busy with other things, so it may take a couple of days before he answers the email. I suppose it could be worse. Over the past Workshop I got answers to emails I sent to Bruce Allen @ Einstein in May of 2007... he finally found some time to answer old email. ;-)

I've had answers on emails to David Anderson, some 6 months after I sent them; 3 months waiting for TJM to answer me. Luckily none of it all was very urgent. :-)

Just saying to keep patience when dealing with admins.

Yeah, all I can hope for is that he sends me the Key in a few days, but I'm not going to bug him about it any more if he doesn't ...

I installed the newly released v6.3.11 on my GPU Box and BOINCView works like it should now again, it sends the Signals or Commands to the Box & the Box responds accordingly ... :)

Glad to hear that, PoorBoy. You're set now :)

What next? 6.3.11 and a GPU or 2 in every box on the farm? NEZ has been top dog on Top 100 for too long. Would love to see you kick him down to #2 dog :)

LOL ... Ya right ... v6.3.11 has major problems really, if your not running a ps3grid wu it wants to start up every wu in your cache, not nice really. I had about 20 AI Wu's all running at once on 1 box ... May have to go back to 6.3.10

That plus I'm setting ps3grid to NNW for now, still having major problems with my account @ the project. I got my original PoorBoy account back but from there it's been all down hill really. Right now I have 4 different accounts @ the Project & none of them have the right CPID, long story & don't even want to get into it ... Dismal to say the least
