For now though, EVERYTHING must be in the same folder (and sub-folders). So, install BOINC in the external drive, and run it and the projects from there. ID: 18224 ·

It's even impossible to put them in the same place as the installer won't let you. You can do something similar with BOINC 5.10.45 though: How to set up BOINC with a separate Data directory?
