I have uninstalled the latest verion of BOINC for windows, installed a previous version, and installed the latest one again in the directory BOINC2. I continue to get the error "The URL you supplied is not that of a boinc-based project". It does this for all projects I try to connect to.

Actually, SETI's maintenance was switched to Tuesdays a while back, so that's not it.

SInce there was some maintenenance talk I tried again today and no go. Note that i tried to connect to a bunch of different ones with no success, so I doubt they are all down at the same time :)

I also played with my proxy settings and it looks like to me I am making it through the proxy, different errors get shown when I am unable to connect. It feels like a configuration item, but I cant digure out what!
