Hi there!
I've installed BOINC on work.
We have a proxy, so i used proxy address and my credential into Options->HTTP PROXY and it's ok, i can authenticate with my account on my project (wordcommunitygrid)...
but when the program try to download works it cant!

This is what i see in Transfers:

as you may notice when i push RETRY COMMUNICATIONS the status gone in Download Pending then in Downloading then in Retry in XX:XX:XX ....

what i can do?

Which OS do you have?
Which version of BOINC?

Create a file on your BOINC directory called cc_config.xml, containing:

<cc_config>
 <log_flags>
  <http_debug>1</http_debug>
 </log_flags>
</cc_config>


Then go to Advanced menu and select "Read config file". Post again the messages you get when a transfer fails.
