Hmm, another thought -- I'd like to propose a 'Schedule' feature. Where you (much like say, MS Active Directory's Logon Hours feature) just fill in blocks, or maybe set a schedule for when this program can run.

There is a simple time of day setting in the web-based preferences and a day-by-day version can be found in the Tools/Computing Preferences in the Advanced View of BOINC Manager. I suggest you select BOINC Manager Help from BOINC's Help menu (in the Advanced View) to see all the features already available.

Same problem with the tricky keys to select multiple units, but my concern today involves the redisplay of the BOINC Manager after restarting the computer. No can do. Only 'solution' I've found is to close BOINC Manager from the menu bar, and then restart it from the icon, and the manager reappears.

Mac is Macbook Pro, 13 inch Retina display.

Sorry if this topic is somewhere else in the thread, but I've been searching around for while already, and haven't found out. According to Murphy's Law, that means the discussion is in the next comment I would have looked at, or perhaps revealed by one more search of some keyword I haven't thought of yet...

Are you saying that none of the following works?
[1] Selecting Open BOINC Manager ... from the BOINC icon in the menu bar
[2] Selecting Open BOINC Manager ... from the BOINC icon in the Dock (after control-click on the Dock icon)
[3] A simple click on the BOINC icon in the Dock

If so, no one else has reported having this problem, as far as I know.

I'd like to see a smarter installer!

I normally keep two Mac user accounts logged in at all times. I only want BOINC to run in one of them. But EVERY TIME there's an update, I have to go into Users & Groups preferences and tell it NOT to launch BOINC on the other Mac user account.

Annoying and unnecessary!

I agree,

An option button with 2 choices will be nice:
1 - Launch at login for All users
2 - Launch at login for Current user only

Snooze time options

I'd like to be able to snooze for different time periods. As it is, I shut down BOINC entirely because the snooze is too short, then I forget to reactivate it. Maybe offer a text field for X hours?
