Hello all!

I've tried building core clients on Mac OS X 10.5.1 Leopard. While the current trunk code (6.1.5) builds fine, I don't get anywhere using the 5.10.32 tagged release. All I get is this:

source BuildMacBOINC.sh -client
Deployment (release) build
Clean each target before building
ERROR: Building BOINC requires System 10.4 or later. For details, see build instructions at
boinc/mac_build/HowToBuildBOINC_XCode.rtf or http://boinc.berkeley.edu/mac_build.html

I _have_ 10.4 or later - probably too much later ;)

Any ideas how to proceed from here? TIA for any pointers!

Edit: I should note that I'm building from the command line, not using Xcode. Also, I noticed that the URL in the presented message is out of date.

Thanks for pointing this out. I've posted a fix to the boinc_core_release_5_10 branch, boinc_core_release_5_10_34 tag and boinc_core_release_5_10_35 tag.

Cheers,

Thanks! In the meantime, I realized that building from within Xcode works flawlessly, even for the 5.10.32-release.

Maybe this should be noted here?

Thanks for the suggestion. That point was unclear; I've made it more prominent.
