I have several jobs waiting in the queue showing "Ready to start". However, if I shut down my computer, when it comes back up and I re-launch Boinc (it never starts by itself even though it is in my start menu), it shows all of these waiting jobs AND the ones that are only partially done as complete and ready to download.

I have Vista Home Premium and Boinc 5.10.28 only used for seti@home.

Any help?

To start with:
How many jobs did you have in Tasks?
And did you Exit from BOINC before shutting down Vista?

One of it's supposed advantages compared to previous versions, is that it shuts down REALLY fast. Which means that BOINC and the science apps usually don't get enough time to save their data if you DON'T specifically exit first.

See this FAQ for workarounds on the Vista fast shutdown.

OK, thanks for the advices. I'll shut down Boinc first and see if that gives a satisfactory result. ;)

OK, I've confirmed that if I first shut down Boinc before shutting down Vista, it then performs as expected when I start up Vista again.
