I was thinking that if the @home applications automatically update to the newest software version, why not the same for BOINC?

Or is that something that is already "in the pipeline" - planned for some future version of BOINC?

Already in plans and half-coded, but it will keep *optional* for the user once it's finished. I don't want BOINC to auto-update. You do. Don't you love the ability to choose? :)
